The Homesteader Box
The Homesteader Box lets you experience eating nose to tail without having to buy beef in bulk.
This box includes bones and our ancestral blend ground beef, making it a great option for customers who enjoy making bone broth, cooking with marrow bones, or incorporating more nutrient-dense foods into their diet.
Bones are cut into small, convenient sizes and packaged in 2.5–5 lb portions, making them easy to store, thaw, and use for bone broth, soups, or roasting for marrow.
The Ancestral Blend comes in flat 2 lb packages, which makes it easy to defrost and cook with. This blend includes ground heart, liver, kidney, and brisket blend ground beef. It’s a simple way to add organ meats into your meals and many people enjoy using it as a natural alternative to supplements since it contains nutrients that are highly bioavailable.

What’s Included
15–20 lbs Assorted Bones
Neck bones, leg bones, and knuckle bones cut into manageable pieces for broth and marrow.
4–6 lbs Ancestral Blend Ground Beef
Ground heart, liver, kidney, and brisket blend ground beef packaged in flat 2 lb portions for easy thawing.
Materials + Care
All Flying B Beef is USDA inspected, vacuum sealed, and flash frozen to preserve freshness and quality.
For best results, keep beef frozen until ready to use. When properly stored in a freezer, our beef is best enjoyed within 12 months.
To thaw, place the sealed package in the refrigerator for 24–48 hours, or thaw under cold running water for quicker use.
Once thawed, keep refrigerated and cook within 3–5 days.

Flying B Beef does not offer shipping at this time. All orders are fulfilled through coordinated local delivery or pickup.

We offer free delivery for customers located within one hour of Catheys Valley, California. Once your order is ready, we will contact you to coordinate a delivery time.
